IT Management

Frameworks, processes and solutions oriented to guarantee that all technology investments generate benefits for the organization, as well as efficient daily operations of IT organizations.

IT investments shall not only support business’ operation, but they shall be done in an efficient manner. For a CIO, the task of managing infrastructure, development, providers, service levels, outsourced processes, and communications, among others, is extremely complex and time-consuming.

To streamline this process, we have developed frameworks and software that allow organizing in a structured way the administration of the organization’s IT platform.

To guarantee that an IT area is working excellent, our approach looks for the following:

  • Alignment of IT operations with the strategy. Every IT processes and projects shall be aligned to the organization’s strategy. Several frameworks are in place to help structure organization’s IT operations using best practices (COBIT, ITIL, ValIT), therefore it is important to know them and then develop the processes that will support IT’s operation.
  • Convert the investments in IT into business' benefits. It is common that when organizations face an IT project, they do not have in advance the metric that will help to assess the project's impact. It is necessary to have a portfolio with the performance metrics of the applications to be implemented, from the business as from the IT point of view.
  • Perform the diagnostic of applications/services and improve them. Organization shall make sure that the systems they have are operating in the most optimum way. Therefore, it is necessary to know how said applications were conceived, if they comply with the business' standards, and if they are easy to maintain and upgrade as required.
  • Monitor applications from the user's point of view. When managing an IT organization in silos, it is very likely to find inefficiencies when trying to meet users’ needs. When IT areas forget the silo’s approach, they become proactive user-centric organizations, whose objective is to optimize users’ attention.
  • Development of competences in the IT team to assure area optimization. Organizations shall make sure that their IT areas have appropriate training levels, which guarantee the required competences to optimize the area and proper knowledge management to reuse everything that’s generated.
  • Management of continuous improvement. Through the implementation of administration models of continuous improvement in the IT areas, we assure they can exceed users’ expectations, while reducing operation costs.

In Intellego we provide our customers the solutions required to increase their efficiency and to maximize their IT ROI.
